Gav, we have plenty of black wool and white linen.

well that was an industrious day. A big thank you to James and EJ for throwing open their house for us to cut it up (quite literally!).
With their knowledge and help newbies like me and Dave knocked out some speccy looking gear in one day. Thank you to Gina and EJ also for sewing our kit together.
Thanks also to Marty and James for the sword lessons, wish I coulda stayed longer I was really enjoying smashing Dave in the head.
I think we could have enough participants for regular western melbourne swrod training regularly time permitting.

cheers all and thanks

Gav

Many thanks to EJ and Gina for the great new clothes. The sword work with James and Marty was a heap of fun and really appreciated.

Hey Gav, after you left I learned other stuff besides blocking your sword with my helmet. I'm ready for a rematch.

Cheers to all the guys who came to the workshop, I think we got a plenty done in one day.
I have to say I am looking at stealing Dave's hood and party coloured BG tunic as they came up awesome.
LOL great cutting out Gav you truely are 'special'.
LOL and I look forward to seeing you all getting aroud in your baby bonnets.
I also cant wait to see Mat in full harness.
James.
PS. Jan 31st is looking like a possible for another sword training/workshop and a combat day near my house, as it is central to Matt, Marty, Tom and the BG's.

Hi guys I echo the many thanks to James and EJ for opening there house for our benefit. The best part about it is getting the “proper” gear together.

As usual Rob and Gina showed up to help out others. Thanks guys your selfless efforts are also much appreciated. Oh I almost forgot Tammy and the fat man you guys are always fun!

It was a pleasure to help Dave and Gav along with the sword. It’s just the start we will get some consistency together soon enough. Hey also we hope to see Leah again soon, “Leah the dagger beckons mate you can’t resist it for to long”

At this point I’m working on the morning of Sat Jan 31st so long as nothing comes up for the afternoon I can come right over after work I’d be looking at about 2ish?

Smile

Attention all:
I am sitting in my undies dying indoors, I cant see us training out doors in the predicted 40drg heat on saturday in even basic gear.
So I have decided to cancel the training session.
Unless we change it to water pistols battles in our undies day.
JAmes.
