Hi all,

we are finally at the point to be able to release details on this event.

You can get the PDF with details off this link to ozbow as I dont know how to upload it here.

http://www.ozbow.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=10307&p=101293#p101293

The event will now be run in Victoria only. It will be a massive weekend, loads to cover and to participate in.

This is a non-profit event put on to benefit those interested in furthering their knowledge of full compass English bow making and "in the bow" shooting technique.

I believe this is a big step for traditional archery in Australia, and the re-emergence of the English style longbow/warbow, there have been plenty of clinics by well respected compounder archers and recurve archers and it is now finally possible to have the opportunity to undertake the same with a well respected traditional archer and bow maker. A man who has been paramount in the revival of the English warbow in the UK.
A big thank you to Leigh Adamson who has been working tirelessly behind the scenes with me to make this happen, indeed he has been the prime mover, a mighty effort.

I am very excited and I hope you will be too.

Enjoy

Gav

Fantastic Steve, we are holding a roving mark comp soon and that will really kick off our comp shooting with the big bows. Can't wait till next year for this big event.

What do you mean organisers can't win it! Sorry Steve but only you are out of contention for this one.

Don't worry, we'll have some sort of comp where you can win something. Probably drinkable.

Times a tickin' LMS people so if you want to be a part of this fantastic opportunity to see a master at work and get some one on one tuition on shooting a warbow from the source we need your entry form returned with payment to Leigh at the address on the flyer asap. Once we reach cut of date there will be no late entries accepted.

cheers

Just a reminder that the form and the money is due at the end of this month. We have 20 paid up participants but really need at least another 5 to be safe that we can cover costs.
