Just thought I would share some photos of my latest creations
1/2 inch tapered to 3/8 x 32 inch long Poplar Shafts
Hand cut 7 3/8 inch x 5/8 inch Turkey
Binding is Linen Thread
Sealed with Danish Oil

You have done a wonderful job yet again !!! You work hard to make such quality arrows and it shows. Its worth being a "Shed Widow" when you come up with these. Very Happy

Great work mate, those nocks are the bomb! What do they weigh in grains/grams.

The average weight for the arrows is 1000 grains
They leave big holes in the target Very Happy Very Happy

Thats a good weight. Some will say to much but thats fine out of a heavy bow over 30yards at a target. lighter arrows are only good for long range shooting. I think you have great arrows at a good weight. nice work.

perfect for a 100 pounder
I knew from the start that they will be little heavy for my bow as I work on a rule of thumb of 10 grains per pound of draw weight and down as low as 8 grains per pound
