Stoopsy,

I have been involved in 4 sword breaks and one of them was not mine.

It does not get any easier and I feel your pain.

My condolences!

Kit

Cheers lads, I'm still all teared up about it and needed the sympathy but it looks pretty sweet for a busted sword!

Awesome day and can't wait for the next one. White Hawk, you're bang on about how awesome getting all the factions of LMS together is and cheers Kit for making me feel better, 4 breaks... faaaark Very Happy

Check it out! And there's a better pic of it in the humour section (think Shards of Narsil)

Lord Thordin, I saw a sword not unlike that one in your picture in a film reciently get 're-made' though you'll need to find a master Elven swordsmith to do it, but if you do you get to be king apparently! (and some down time with Liv Tyler....mmmmm).

Hell, I should break swords over people's heads more often! Sure sounds like a sweet deal and bashing Damo never gets old Very Happy
Cheers for picking up on the LOTR reference (was totally gunning for that when I took the pic)

Great day guys and a fantastic effort to those who organised and setup the day. A special thanks to Leigh and Gav for bringing down the 3D animals, everyone had a great time in the hunt and it made use of our newly opened fields.

Oh
My
God!!

On looking at the photos of your outing, what on earth do the Powers That Be think they are doing to the Park???
One slight clear up looks more like total carnage. l don't care how much this clear up is for 'the betterment' of the land, that is just a crying shame.
Look at the size of some of those tree trunks - they did not just grow over night.

Right.
There is nothing for it. l'm off to chain myself to one of the remaining trees so they cant cut it down.

Pfft.

Sorry Len, had my son home for the weekend.
He is still recovering from the hit and run last month.
l did ask him if he wanted to come watch but he didn't want to. The fun of two broken arms has worn off on the lad and he is a might narky.
Didn't think it motherly of me to leave him home by himself either.

Wish l could of been there, l sure would of liked to shoot at that fox critter. At least that one is standing still (unlike the ones around here who snarl and flee).

Many thanks to all that put this great day together. Special thanks to BG's for the roving targets. It was great fun and I had an awesome time with Len's arrows where I actually was hitting targets at the 125mt mark on my 35lb longbow. It felt wonderful! Very Happy Congrats to those that won events and I can't wait for the next comp. Kind regards, Silverlady.

l got a good shot at my outlaw fox the other day and hit it too!
The fox was at the side of the horse shelter and the horses were going off their nut. l picked up a tyre out of the tree break and flung/rolled/hurled it in the general direction.
Tyre bounced off the side of the shelter and thwacked the fox in its side.
Lets hope it decides to live somewhere else now.
(The foxes around here must be outgoing types, l have the pelt of the last fox that tackled me - bullet hole in its mask).
